Dhaliwal Sweets & Chaat House is a beautiful place to dine in with a stunning interior that sets the perfect mood for a meal. We tried four different types of pakodas and the taste was absolutely incredible, but the highlight was the exceptional hospitality. As we were leaving, the staff kindly offered us a sample of their jalebi, which was the perfect sweet ending to our visit. It’s rare to find a spot that combines such delicious food with such a warm and welcoming atmosphere!

I must say that As being 'Amritsari Foodie', I have tried Tikkis from lots and lots of places but I find their Tawa Tikki the BEST. To start with, their tikki size is almost 1.5x bigger and comes in 2 per plate. Crispy from outside and soft inside. Filling of potatoes, onion, chick peas deal and bits of paneer. Tikki plate price is very genuine. Raj Kachori also very crispy, filled with potatoes, boiled black chick peas and herbs, topping of sweet chutney and some masalas. Definitely going to revisit this shop, right on the corner of 128th & 84th. It is vegetarian shop.

I liked them, but they were a bit too thin and small, which they could improve. They also gave me a complimentary coffee. I ordered a cappuccino, but I ended up throwing it away when I got home because it was like Starbucks style where you have to make it yourself. However, they have the best paneer I have ever tried in Canada from any shop. I usually buy Brar brand, but after trying their paneer, Brar now feels a bit synthetic in comparison. The shop is also very clean, and they wear gloves, which is great. You can also find there paneer in Day 2 Day.

We sat in the café for almost 10 minutes, but no one came to take our order. The staff at the counter seemed more focused on talking to each other, so I eventually had to go to the counter and place the order myself. After ordering, we waited about 30 minutes for our food, and several customers who arrived after us were served before we were. I also asked for ketchup, but it wasn't brought to the table until after I had already finished eating. The food quality was great, but the staff definitely need to be more attentive and show more energy and urgency when serving customers. I would come back for the food, but I hope the service improves.
