Dhaliwal Sweets & Chaat House is a beautiful place to dine in with a stunning interior that sets the perfect mood for a meal. We tried four different types of pakodas and the taste was absolutely incredible, but the highlight was the exceptional hospitality. As we were leaving, the staff kindly offered us a sample of their jalebi, which was the perfect sweet ending to our visit. It’s rare to find a spot that combines such delicious food with such a warm and welcoming atmosphere!
Satisfied with the food, service and overall experience at Dhaliwala sweets and chat house. The ambience at new place is fabulous. We ordered chana bhature, paratha plate and veg thali and everything was delicious.
Newly renovated shop. Good and inviting ambiance. We ordered Tawa Tikki Plate and Raj Kachori. I must say that As being 'Amritsari Foodie', I have tried Tikkis from lots and lots of places but I find their Tawa Tikki the BEST. To start with, their tikki size is almost 1.5x bigger and comes in 2 per plate. Crispy from outside and soft inside. Filling of potatoes, onion, chick peas deal and bits of paneer. Tikki plate price is very genuine. Raj Kachori also very crispy, filled with potatoes, boiled black chick peas and herbs, topping of sweet chutney and some masalas. Definitely going to revisit this shop, right on the corner of 128th & 84th. It is vegetarian shop.
I really loved the interior of this restaurant. The best part is that they make desi ghee jalebis fresh right in front of you. I liked them, but they were a bit too thin and small, which they could improve. They also gave me a complimentary coffee. I ordered a cappuccino, but I ended up throwing it away when I got home because it was like Starbucks style where you have to make it yourself. However, they have the best paneer I have ever tried in Canada from any shop. I usually buy Brar brand, but after trying their paneer, Brar now feels a bit synthetic in comparison. The shop is also very clean, and they wear gloves, which is great. You can also find there paneer in Day 2 Day.
I would like to share about my excellent experience at this location for the preparation of sweets. A special thanks to the front line staff and Jasbeer for exceptional customer service, punctuality, attention to detail and cleanliness. The staff is always smiling and makes all the customers feel very welcomed! I would highly recommend Dhaliwal Sweets for all your catering needs! 😊 As a side note, I am not related to this business 😂
