I just placed an order (Order #DAC51, UberEats, Feb 19 at 5:51 pm) for chicken biryani and specifically requested extra raita because last time, the raita I received tasted old and was inedible. I called the store and spoke with NOOR, who said the kitchen was busy. FYI: REGARDLESS of how busy you are, I paid the full amount for my order and expect to receive what I requested. Charging for extras is fine, but my concern is that I clearly mentioned the issue before, and it’s disappointing that being “busy” is given as a reason for not fulfilling my request. As a paying customer, I expect my order to be made properly. Very dissapointing! I’m thankful that my order was replaced with the mildest spice level and that I received the correct items this time. Sincere and great customer service really makes a big difference. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Good food, good service! It was my first time trying Tasty Planet Indian Cuisine, and it did not disappoint. I visited with four friends at midnight, and we all had an amazing dining experience from start to finish. We ordered the Chicken Karahi, Lamb Vindaloo, and Fish Pakoras: each dish came with rice and was packed with rich, authentic flavors and cooked to perfection. The Fish Pakoras were perfectly crunchy, the Rasmalai was rich, creamy, and comforting, and the chai tied everything together beautifully. Small place but the staff were welcoming, attentive, and made us feel right at home. Highly recommend Tasty Planet to anyone craving authentic, flavorful Indian cuisine.

We’ve been craving Indian cuisine lately, and after spending the day around Burnaby and New Westminster, we decided to finally check out Tasty Planet Indian Cuisine — a spot we’ve driven by many times! Here’s what we ordered and loved: 🍗 Chilli Chicken – Deep-fried boneless chicken cooked with ginger and green peppers. It’s like Chinese sweet and sour chicken but with a delicious spicy kick! 🥣 Chana Puri – Two HUGE deep-fried wheat breads served with chickpeas, pickle, and salad. The chickpeas were so flavourful, and the puri was light and crispy. This is a must-order! 🔥 Chicken Tikka Masala – Grilled chicken in a creamy, tomato-based sauce. Perfectly balanced and so comforting. 🥘 Lamb Korma – Boneless lamb cooked in a rich white cashew nut sauce. The lamb was tender and full of flavour — we loved the spice balance! Garlic Naan – Soft, perfectly cooked (not burnt!), and great texture. A must-have pairing with any curry. Every dish was so tasty that it was hard to pick a single winner of the night — but if we had to choose, the Chana Puri and Lamb Korma were our top picks! 🥇 The menu offers a great mix of classic favourites and unique regional dishes. Everything tasted authentic, fresh, and made with care. Tasty Planet is a small, casual restaurant located in a plaza at 6th Street & 10th Avenue (Highway 1A) — right on the Burnaby/New Westminster boundary. First time trying here wow. The fish pakora is to die for. It’s perfect and so tasty. Also tried butter chicken and naan. Solid solid. Will come back

I visited this restaurant today, and I must say it was an absolutely wonderful experience. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt welcoming and comfortable. The food was truly amazing, I ordered the samosas and Veg Biryani, and both were incredibly delicious, fresh, and full of authentic flavor. Every bite reflected quality and care in preparation. What made my visit even more special was the exceptional service provided by Muskan. She was extremely polite, attentive, and professional throughout. Her friendly nature and warm smile made the whole experience even better. She handled everything with such grace and confidence, ensuring that I felt comfortable and well taken care of. It’s rare to see such dedication and genuine hospitality. Muskan truly represents the restaurant in the best possible way. Because of her outstanding service and the delicious food, I would definitely love to visit again and highly recommend this place to all my friends and family.
